This is a large work by KAENDLER, a representative sculptor of Meissen, "Venus and Playing Angels". This antique Meissen piece has many charms, such as the dignified yet gentle Venus and the lovely angels surrounding her. The mark on the bottom suggests that it was made between 1860 and 1924.
The lower angel's right toe is chipped and there are repair marks on the wings. The upper angel's right foot has been repaired by an old professional. Also, there is a scratch on the mark of the twin swords. Please check the images.
