The Johnson Brothers Heritage Hall Dishwasher Safe Ironstone 4411 Soup Tureen with Lid and Ladel was made in Staffordshire England and is a piece of art! The tureen could be considered burgundy, brown, or multi-color. It has tasteful hand engravings. Just stunning!
The total weight of the tureen, lid, and ladel is 4 lbs and 14 1/4 oz and holds one gallon. Handle to handle, it is 13” long. The opening of the bowl is over 7 1/4”, from bottom to the rim it is over 5”. The ladle is almost one foot long. From top to bottom, it measures 10”. The bowl has been in our family for a very, very long time and we have never used it. Due to down-sizing, we must sell.
