These handbags are gorgeous and rare - I want them to go to a good owner who will take care of them.

The first bag: This beauty is from the 1950s-60s, by Margaret Smith. She started her handbag company in Maine, and it went from the 1940s and ended in 2008.

Her handbags are surprisingly easy to find in vintage shops, but, I fell in love with this one because of its rare floral print, and electric purple interior.

The exterior is a smooth, hard canvas, and the interior is a billowy satin. It closes securely with a silver kisslock, and stands upright easily. No pockets. My only issue, is the bag won't open super wide at the top (probably due to the hard canvas base), so be careful.

It can hold clothing nicely, and will make a great overnight bag.
Bag length: 12in
Bag height: 9.5in
Bag depth: 4in
Bag strap: 9in

The second bag: This is a beautiful suede handbag (possibly from the 1980s) by Lord & Taylor, and it's made in Italy!

The exterior is soft, and a vibrant dark pink in sunlight, but looks more purple/magenta under flash. The interior feels like a waxed cotton or vinyl, and can hold a cell phone, makeup, comb, and camera too! Just be aware, that the gold clasp closes, but isn't tight, so you may want to carry a phone with light items.

The stunning gold strap is from mautto.com, and made in the USA! It's skinny, but very strong - I love mautto for straps! The strap can be removed, and the gold hinges can be tucked into the bag to turn it into a clutch!
Bag length: 11in
Bag height: 5.5in
Bag depth: 1.5in (will stretch easily)
Bag strap: 36.5in

The third bag: This pretty bag was one my mom bought from an estate sale. It looks like it was made in the 1960s, due to the shape and boxy structure.

The gold pushlock closes securely. The exterior is a hard base, but it's smooth to the touch. The lining is similar, with one drop pocket. This bag is only for essentials (phone, cards, bandaids, slim mirror), as it won't stretch. The handle is solid, and can be folded neatly into the bag, turning it into a clutch!
Bag length: 10in
Bag height: 6in
Bag depth: 2in
Bag strap: 8.5in wide, 1in drop

The final bag: This is a cute coin purse that came from a vintage shop. Looks like it's from the 1960s as well, and closes securely with a kisslock.

The fabric feels like a thick satin, and is soft but waxy, inside and out. It holds a lot of coins - maybe a few dollars worth of quarters!
Bag length: 3.5in
Bag height: 2.5in

I'm sellng them, because I don't use them as often as I should, and, I'm now living a minimalist life, and don't need so many bags.
