For sale, a rare and highly collectable "Fifty Fifty" (aka "On/Off") table or wall lamp, conceived by Swiss artist Paul Talman, circa 1965, and later edited by Interaktives Licht Köln, Germany, circa 1990s.

This interactive lamp or 'light object' has nine two-sided, swivelling plastic balls with "ON" printed to the white side and "OFF" to the black side. These reveal or conceal the light and the spheres can be playfully rotated to create different patterns and lighting effects. Consisting of an anodised aluminium casing, the lamp can be displayed as a freestanding object, or can easily be wall mounted thanks to the mounting holes on the back.

The light is in superb vintage condition, is in full working order and is controlled via an in-line switch on the cable.

Dimensions: W 40cm / h 40cm / d 8cm
