[Introduction] Sikorsky UH-60 Medium Utility Helicopter (English: Sikorsky UH-60 Medium Utility Helicopter, named "Black Hawk" by the US Army) is a four rotor, dual engine, medium utility helicopter designed and produced by Sikorsky Aircraft Company for the US Army in the 1970s. The UH-60 "Black Hawk" has derived many models and versions, demonstrating its near perfect versatility, such as the US Marine Corps transport helicopter "Night Hawk", the US Air Force special operations aircraft Pave Hawk, the Australian armed helicopter "Battle Hawk", and the US Navy anti-submarine/transport helicopter "Sea Hawk". In addition to the United States, more than 20 countries and regions have purchased UH-60, which are commonly referred to as S-70 helicopters (i.e. Sikorsky Company number) for export. The production of the UH-60 series has reached over 4500 units to date.
