Short Hand Operation is the 3rd and final studio album by American punk band Ninety Pound Wuss, released in 1999 through Christian Rock label Tooth & Nail Records. The album shows a much more atmospheric side of the band, featuring the use of synthesizers. Jeff Suffering, vocalist of the band, was very satisfied and considers it as the "best record [he'll] ever record".

Jeff Suffering (born Jeff Bettger), is also the former lead singer of Raft of Dead Monkeys, Suffering and the Hideous Thieves.

"It's really too bad that most of the more popular tooth and nail albums albums are derivative crap. This is one example of a t&n album that barely saw the light of day, but is an innovative and original hardcore album. Art Punk done in the artiest and punkiest way possible like Drive Like Jehu, Refused, Nation Of Ulysses. As for the Christian angle, there aren't that many religious themes I could pick up on. Just stuff about rising out of pain, and using some force to help you out of said pain."
