Antique American Brilliant Glass Nappy Bowl or Candy Dish with Handle.  Unmarked – c. 1880s.  7 ¼” in diameter including the handle, 6” in diameter without.

This lovely hand-cut Bowl is decorated with a center Hobstar surrounded by Pear-shaped Miter cuts with beading down the center and four additional Hobstars.  Scalloped tooth edging along the rim.

The Nappy is in good condition.  No knife marks in the bowl though there is a bit of roughness to a spot on the inner side on the outside of the handle.  Also, some inevitable nibbling to about half a dozen of the sawtooth on the rim – most very minor flakes, one chipped off.
