VINTAGE 1972 PORTMEIRION 'THE BOTANIC GARDEN' STORAGE JAR "BELLIS PERENNIS"  DESIGN BY SUSAN WILLIAMS ELLIS. 

Manufactured in the UK, this vintage Portmeirion storage jar (1972 backstamp) features the traditional 'Botanic Garden' design with a beautiful depiction of a garden Daisy ... complete with dragon fly and butterfly at front centre. 

This is a medium sized storage jar which stands 5 inches in height (without the lid).    The jar has a diameter of 3.5 inches at the rim. 

Perfect for storing kitchen essentials or as a decorative piece ... the perfect item for display. 

The jar remains in entirely sound, clean condition - as I hope I have shown.   The wooden lid remains in good, clean condition also with its original rubber seal in sound, clean condition and working well - providing a good, vacuum seal to keep contents in fresh condition!
