Up for bid is a vintage Chinese silverplated pewter mug by Kut Hing of Swatow.  The vase is mug is 5 inches tall by about 5 inches wide over the handle.  It has an engraved dragon around the side.  It has three Chinese marks and a “KUT HING / SWATOW” mark around the foot rim as shown.  These are fairly common in pewter, but not so much with the added silver plating.

Condition on the piece is fairly good.  The rim is slightly out-of-round, and there are numerous minor dings scuffs, and small patches of plate loss.  There are some stubborn stains as well.  Still an attractive vintage mug.
