The four tracks were completed by Lukather and Peich in 2018 with additional recordings (including a collaboration with the late Porcaro brothers that transcends time and space).

TOTO, one of the most important AOR/ROCK albums in the history of AOR/ROCK, which had a great influence on the sound of "city pop", which is now very popular all over the world, is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its release and the 45th anniversary of its formation. This year also marks the 30th anniversary of the death of legendary drummer Jeff Porcaro, who was also the band's spiritual pillar. TOTO's masterpiece and milestone album, which sold 12 million copies worldwide and won six Grammy Awards, the most in its history, is now available in a 40th anniversary DX edition (SACD 5.1 ch hybrid disc) planned exclusively for Japan! The SACD layer, which contains 5.1 ch audio, is overwhelmed by the meticulously composed sound that comes out from the five speakers with good separation. The CD layer also features sound sources remastered in 2018 by Elliot Shiner, known for his work with Steely Dan, under the supervision of the members. In addition, four new songs were completed in 2018 based on unfinished outtakes from the 1981~1982 recording sessions, and are included as additional bonus tracks. Included in the package is a 1982 JAPAN tour pamphlet, tour poster, Budokan concert ticket, analog vinyl single jacket replica, members' session list book, and other valuable memorabilia for fans to drool over!
