Here we have a rare vintage South Bend 4-piece single-handed 6' tubular steel casting rod housed in its own
carrying bag, in excellent used condition as shown in pictures. Manufactured ca. the 1920s-1930's in the U.S.A.,
the rod is quite light for its size and construction, and is feeling good in the hands for casting different lures.
All parts are complete with no bends or cracks. The rod is clean and in excellent shape all around
with minor marks of use and age. It features 4 interlocking parts with screw joints guards, a cork handle
with the sliding-lock mechanism in excellent condition, and 3 guides with red agates in beautiful condition.
Amazingly well preserved with a very nice black finish all around, good fittings and solid guides.
