Description: I really believe that this IS the sweetest little Gunne Sax dress ever❣️ It's made of a rich, dark denim fabric (pure cotton of course) that's set off with the loveliest little house on the prairie style calico fabric in burgundy. It's in excellent condition with no meaningful signs of wear. I gently hand washed this one because it had been in storage for years and it came out looking great. Then I ironed it. Because it's too pretty not to! There are three different types of lace trims on this dress - and deep purple satin ribbon trim, too - that's top stitched with dark blue thread to match the denim fabric. There are tie-backs at the waist and dress zips up the back. It even has a gathered flounce at the lower hemline. Although this is tagged a vintage size 7, I think it might fit some size 9s too. It just feels a little more roomy than unusual for a 7. We'll go by actual measurements, though ... Bust measures 36 inches across from side to side and waist measures 28 inches across. What this means is that it will fit a 34-35 inch bust and 27 inch waist with room to breathe. A 28 inch waist would be snug but you could get it zipped! Hips are full and overall length from shoulder to hemline is 44 inches. A dress like this ... in this good of condition wont come around just any old day. It is just suuuuuuper special!
