This is an HP ScanJet 6100C/T Flatbed scanner with lightbox in the lid, used for digitizing X-ray films. It has an optical resolution of 600 dpi (dots per inch) and the maximum document size is 8.5" x 14" (216 x 356 mm). It is from 1997.

This is very large unit: approx. 23 inches long by 14.5 inches wide by 7 inches high.

The unit has the lightbox lid fully installed : HP C6261A TRANSPARENCY ADAPTER / XRAY for ScanJet 6100C Scanner

It comes with its 2 original instruction books (installation guide and user's guide) and the HP Scanjet 6100C Scanner CD-ROM in its original box (see pics).
