CHRISTMAS ROSE Candle Holder
A Bing and Grondahl (B&G) individual candle holder in the pattern Christmas Rose, also known as Snowflower in English and Julerose in Danish. The Christmas rose service was designed in 1936 by Cecilie Louise Hallin and was a very popular pattern through the 1980s. It was discontinued in 1994.
Fully marked on the bottom including the three tower trademark of Bing & Grondahl. These are the “stylized towers” used from 1970 into the late 1980’s. The size is approximately 4 3/8 inches in diameter by 1 ½ inches high.
I have three of these in stock. Because they are all hand-painted, there will be modest variations in coloration – one of the many charms of hand-painted china. Please see the last photo for two that have the most color variance. The listed price is for each (one) candle holder, but you are free to buy as many as are still available.
