Presenting a superb authentically vintage figural kookaburra dish dating to circa 1930s.
This stunning example features a beautifully modelled solid cast metal kookaburra appearing to the top of a dish crafted into the shape of a map of Australia. The kookaburra has been well cast, finely detailed and rendered in the round. The kookaburra is perched upon a stump which has been affixed to the curved Australia shaped dish.
The kookaburra and the upper surface of the dish were finished in sparkling chrome which has worn with time adding an appealing charm to this authentically vintage piece.
This dish stands upon four squat metal feet which beautifully elevates the form.

SIZE: This piece stands 110mms tall, measures 140mms in length and 125mms in width.
CONDITION: This piece is presented in very good vintage condition with no breaks or repairs. As mentioned above the chrome plating has worn with time. This piece presents beautifully.
