Select Australia had released 2 AFL trading Cards Series in 2002-- 2002 Select AFL Exclusive Trading Card Series ( 9000 boxes released) and 2002 AFL EXCLUSIVE SPX Series ( 3000 boxes released).

The Base card set of these 2 series are same players cards EXCEPT that the SPX Base set has a GOLD BACK GROUND and also with " SPX" wording. The card stock is marginally thicker than the Exclusive cards. 

2002 Select AFL EXCLUSIVE SPX Trading Card is the second AFL trading cards series released by Select Australia for the season 2002. 3000 BOXES RELEASED. The complete base card set is 220 cards-- 218 players cards from 16 AFL teams + 2 checklists cards. Each Team has 13 or14 cards--12 or 13 players cards + 1 Team Logo.
