This armrest works very well for my Martin 000 guitar while protecting the front spruce tonewood it lets me play with support for my strumming arm without dampening lower freq vibrations from my guitar. Thank you and I recommend getting one that matches your guitar too.

Don’s armrests are beautiful and made to be strong. They are an excellent value, very comfortable and add to the tone quality. I’ve used many of the more expensive arm rests and these are every bit as good. This particular one came with an amazing 3M VHB™️ adhesive strip attached. Very thin, it disappears on application! I heartily recommend these armrests!

Hi Don. I just wanted to tell you again how excellent the guitar armrests are. I just put one on my Ovation LX shallow body... and Oh My there's the bass I've been missing - and the highs just sing. That product is a sure winner. How come Martin guitars hasn't figured this out?

Just a message to say thanks very much for your help with the armrest. I have to let you know that they have improved the tone and sustain of my acoustic guitar greatly and would recommend them to any guitarist looking to improve their sound..

Try a simple test. Take your instrument and get ready to play as usual. Now strum a chord. Next lift your strumming arm, at the shoulder, up off the guitar then strum again. Listen to the difference. By placing your arm against the top of the guitar, you lose between 15% and 20% of the power and projection of the top of the guitar!

The top is the main sounding board of your instrument. When you lay your arm on it, there is a dampening or muting effect. Violin, Mandolin, and Banjo players have been using arm rests for many years for these same reasons.

The arm rest is attached to the surface by means of a double-sided adhesive strip, developed to hold it securely without harming the delicate finish of your instrument.
