What is Dermatix® Ultra gel?

Dermatix® Ultra is a topically applied clear silicone gel that quickly ries and helps maintain the moisture balance of the skin and is intended for skin scars, caused after surgical procedures, burns and other injuries, to look after Dermatix® Ultra Gel has been found to smooth, soften and reduce scars eliminates itching and discomfort at the site of the scar, as well reduces uneven skin color caused by scars. Dermatix® Ultra gel is a colorless, odorless, non-greasy gel that is easy to apply on various areas of the skin, including the face, joints and folds. He is fast dries up covering the skin with an invisible "film" and giving it a soft, silky feel feeling Dermatix® Ultra Gel is formulated using the same long chain bases polymers as in the production of topical silicone tapes, only he supplied in a tube. This gel is composed of cyclic and polymeric siloxanes and vitamin C ester. The gel is sold in tubes of 6 g, 15 g or 60 g.


What is Dermatix® Ultra gel used for?

Dermatix® Ultra gel is used for keloid and hypertrophic scars (formed after general surgical procedures, traumatic wounds or burns) ideal for treatment and prevention when the wound and skin surface have already healed. It can also be used for red scars that fade quickly heals; mostly for wounds that healed two years ago.


How to use Dermatix® Ultra gel?

Unscrew the cap of the tube, carefully cut off the tip of the tube (60 g for the tube remove the foil cover). Wash the affected surface and dry it napkin.

Dermatix® Ultra gel can only be applied to clean, dry skin. Softly massage a small amount of Dermatix® Ultra into the scar; wipe off excess gel with a napkin so as not to stain the clothes. Use twice a day: once in the morning and once in the evening for at least two months; however, large scars can  need to be treated longer. After the Dermatix® Utra gel dries, cosmetics can be used.

Dermatix® Ultra is also suitable for use in children.


When should you not use Dermatix® Ultra Gel?

• Dermatix® Ultra should not be used on open or fresh wounds.

• Dermatix® Ultra should not be applied to mucous membranes or close to the eyes.

• Dermatix® Ultra should not be applied on top of other skin care products without consulting

with a doctor.


What are the possible side effects of Dermatix® Ultra Gel?

In rare cases, the gel may cause redness, pain or irritation of the skin.

How to store Dermatix® Ultra?

• Keep out of sight and reach of children.

• Store at a temperature below 25 °C, away from heating sources.

• Do not use after the expiration date of the gel indicated on the package.
