This is a very nice original early Jones Motrola 10,000 cable driven tachometer. These early tachs were extremely expensive. The high price made them exclusive to some of the most cutting edge race cars and boats of the 50's-early 60's. These are known for being seen in Lola race cars, Indy 500, Trans Am, and other record winning historical racers. Finding one of these early brass housing, beveled glass lens tachs today is nearly unheard of. Finding a tach like this in excellent condition is like finding a needle in a haystack. This tach is in amazing original condition as shown. It appears to be New Old Stock. The only condition flaw a see are a few small nicks in the glass on the beveled edge. The dial is mint. The glass is clean and clear. The bezel is excellent with mint original plating. The brass housing has no flaws. The best part is, I tested this tach and it works as good as it looks. This is a truly amazing find.
