Up for bid is an antique Tibetan Buddhist silver lidded bottle or vase.  The piece is about 8 1/2 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter and weighs 152 grams.  It is formed with a four panel lower body on a flared foot, a narrow knopped center and a four-panel flared top with a slide-in domed lid.  The body and foot are heavily chased, with dragons and some of the Eight Buddhist Treasures in repousse relief on a flat chased ground.  There are no marks; it does test as silver of good purity.

Condition on the piece is fair.  It is rather crudely made; the joints around the center knop as rather messy, and may be signs of an old repair or two.  The foot edge is wavy and crude as well.  Still an interesting old piece of Asian silver.
