This is a hand carved wooden bowl. Very primitive looking, ie, you can see the gouges where the carving tool made marks. It does have irregularities in the carving of it, ( see photos) It was originally  used in the making of bread, (specifically for bread to rise in) It is large at 15" diameter. and 3" tall. Very heavy and thick. It is round except has an arrow type “spout” Would be fine to use for its original purpose or could be used as an interesting bowl to display collections in. Weighs 7 Lbs, 14 Oz. Hard to find item. I found it in an antique mall. Thanks for looking.
