For sale is an Authentic antique hand forged blacksmith made 1700s 18th century early American fireplace toaster with a double arch form head piece design. It is used to toast/reheat flat bread by the hearth fire. The head piece pivots on the handle to allow even toasting. Many hand hammered rivets are visible at various parts of the item.

It Measures approximately 20” long when laid flat, the toaster head measures 12” x 7”. The item is great antique condition. There are no surface rust. The arches are securely attached. Other Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are present. Please study the pictures carefully before committing to buy.

Overall, this is a classical example that showcases the colonial American blacksmith craftsmanship. A great display item for collectors of early wrought iron antiquity /early Americana /primitive Kitchen and hearth tool.
