Introducing a Timeless Treasure: Vintage Bisque Artist
Doll, Charity by Jeanne Singer, Nominated for a Doll of the Year Award in 1998
🌟 Step
into a world of enchantment with our exquisite Vintage Bisque Artist Doll,
Charity, lovingly designed and sculpted by the renowned doll artist Jeanne
Singer. This petite masterpiece embodies the essence of childhood innocence and
captures the heart with every delicate detail. 🌟
Charity, a limited edition gem, bears her unique number and
the prestigious signature of Jeanne Singer herself in 18K gold on her back neck. Her pose, that of an
endearing child awaiting patiently, tugs at your heartstrings. She holds her
charming dress out at each side, as if in rapt attention to the whispers of her
beloved parents.
đź‘— Charity's dress features clever dots of Velcro,
allowing it to be securely fastened to her tiny hands. But the real magic lies
in the artistry of her bisque painting. With exquisite precision, Jeanne Singer
has bestowed upon Charity fine golden eyebrows, captivating light brown glass
eyes that seem to twinkle with wonder, and a fringe of real eyelashes that
frame her gaze. Below each eye, you'll find finely lined painted
eyelashes that add depth and character to her expressive face.
🌹 A
symphony of rosy hues adorns Charity's cheeks, lips, fingers, and fingertips,
infusing her with an irresistible charm. Her costume, a masterpiece in itself,
comprises a diaphanous rose-covered overgown crafted from the lightest-weight
materials. Underneath, she dons coordinating panties embellished with delicate
lace edging, dainty stockings, and adorable side-buttoned beige shoes that
complete her enchanting ensemble.
🌎
Charity is a rare find, as she is numbered 266 of 2000 worldwide firings, each
individually numbered. Her exceptional beauty and allure were celebrated when
she was nominated for the prestigious Doll of the Year award in 1998, a
testament to Jeanne Singer's unparalleled talent.
🏆
Jeanne Singer has been a luminary in the world of bisque doll design and
sculpting since 1980, amassing accolades and awards for her remarkable
creations, of which Charity is a shining example.
Charity has her own stand which will come with her in her presentation box.

According to the Estate, this doll was owned by an antique doll
collector/investor and not displayed or taken from the box except for the
photographs and video in this listing. This doll was stored in a
climate-controlled environment without exposure to pets or the elements. All
factory applied wrappings are intact, but some may have been temporarily
removed for the photos and videotaping and then replaced. As is normal
for items which have been stored for prolonged periods of time, some shelf wear
may exist on the box or paper wrappings, especially at the edges.
Ask pointed questions and ask for additional
photos before bidding or purchasing. Any errors or omissions are unintentional
and are based on my personal research. All vintage items and vintage dolls are
being sold strictly as pictured, as videotaped, and as found.
See the Photos and the Video (if available);
they are an essential part of the description.

If there is any damage during transit, keep the packing/packages,
take photos (i.e., package, item damage) and immediately contact me and the
carrier (i.e., USPS or UPS) for assistance.
Beginning immediately, especially for items shipped
internationally, I will be packing all loose items (e.g., dolly/bears, bonnets,
hangtag/COA, etc.) in zip lock bags and taping those to the interior of the box.
Each product listing will include an inventory of accessories or papers as a
part of each listing (see “Set Includes” under “Item Specifics”). I will also
take photos of all items boxed, just before I ship.
All packages are actively tracked to assure they arrive within the
timeline we have agreed upon as part of each listing and I will frequently
reach out with any updates.
Note to International Buyers:
International Shipping is offered exclusively through the eBay
Global Shipping Program (GSP).
eBay GSP collects VAT where applicable prior to shipping but you
are still responsible for any other fees or taxes applied by your country, and
you will be invoiced by eBay GSP for any of these costs prior to check-out. If
you do not want to purchase the item due to “excessive” costs DO NOT complete
the purchase. These costs are not under our shop’s control and are not
refundable.
If a purchase goes through the GSP, there is a possibility of the
box being opened for inspection by the GSP Staff and/or by US Customs. This is
not something we control not can we anticipate it. The timeline for receipt of
your purchase when moving through International Shipping can vary. Our shop can
tell how long it will take to get to the nearest international hub but not how
long it will take to move out of the hub and be on its way to you. Monitor eBay tracking using your purchase
account. eBay GSP will provide you with
a projected date for receipt just as you would receive if you were within the continental
US.
When you receive your purchase, if there are items missing from
the inventory of accessories or papers noted in each listing (see “Set Includes”
under “Item Specifics”), contact me immediately for resolution and next steps. This
may include a Full Refund and return of the item to the GSP Hub. Do not ask for
a partial refund as that is against the GSP and eBay rules!
Purchasing Vintage & Antique Items from Us
Please note that much of our inventory comes from
auctions, estate sales, and the odd flea market. These items therefore
are being sold as-is and as stated in each listing. We are not
experts in all things antique or vintage, and, sad to say, we don't know the
history of most of the items we sell. Remember too Antique Items are more
than 100 years old and Vintage Items are anywhere between 22 years old to 99
years old. Sometimes age creates
issues which we can’t control.
Best Advice: Read carefully, look over every photo, ask
questions and request more photos or more details about an item’s condition to
satisfy yourself that you are purchasing a product you can be proud of and
thoroughly enjoy. We take pride in
providing you with up to 24 full color photos, a 30-45 sec video on a turn
table and a detailed description of the item you will receive.
