Pair of cool Brutalist “Marbella” Barstools. Very comfortable and can be sat on either way around similar to a saddle. Three Trefoil style handles adjoin the seat which stands on three legs with rippled metal foot rest come stretcher. A good looking functional pair of stools from iconic Marbella stool designed by Sergio Rodrigues for Confonorm in the 1970’s. They measure 83cm high by 46cm wide and 35 cm deep. The seat height is 79cm.

The term “Brutalist” refers to a style of architecture that emerged in the mid-20th century, characterized by raw, unpolished materials and a focus on function over form.

Confonorm is a Spanish furniture company founded in 1962 that specializes in creating contemporary designs with a focus on function and practicality. The ‘Marbella’ stools are an excellent example of their design philosophy and show their skilful use of materials. These stools would make a great addition to any vintage or Brutalist inspired interior design. They are not only functional, but also visually interesting and unique.
