David Ogilvy – Wings Of History (Volume One: Sounds At Shuttleworth) Field Recording LP (1976)

Near-mint British release.

Issued in a gatefold sleeve laminated on the outside.

It comprises field recordings of the key aircraft in the RAF fleet.

Recorded at Old Warden Aerodrome, England.

It could hard to find a better example of this album.

Condition
Vinyl – VG. Looks very clean on visual inspection. Some light marks and surface scuffs. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fantastic, especially the aircraft flypasts in stereo. Vocals by David Ogilvy are very clear. Light static in quieter places. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A wonderful listening experience.
Outer Sleeve (Cover) – VG-EX. Superb laminated outer gatefold with minimal wear. Colours are bright and unfaded. One or two veinlike creases and buckling in bottom right corner of front gate. No other obvious imperfections. A superb example overall.
Inner Sleeve – G. Original. White paper with squared corners. Central hole. Some edges have splits. Multiple creases but intact.
