Vintage Oriental Oversized Carved Stone Pendant, Feathered Serpent Type Design, approx 3" diameter

This comes from a large collection of various jade/nephrite/jadeite items that I bought at auction a few years ago. They came from a single collector who lived in China and Japan in the 1970s and 1980s but I don't know where they were sourced from.

It is stone but I cannot confirm exactly what type. I don't think it is jade but I haven't had it checked.

I have tried to photograph a close up as best I can.
