The MXS 5.0 is a highly sophisticated micro-process operated battery charger with integrated, automatic temperature compensation offering unprecedented performance when it comes to charging lead-acid batteries ranging from 1.2 Ah to 110 Ah. The MXS 5.0 is the solution to numerous battery problems and is an ideal battery charger for ambitious users. The MXS 5.0 features include battery condition diagnostics to determine if the battery can take up and store energy, a patented automatic desulphation step, as well as a special reconditioning option that makes batteries that have formed acid layers and empty batteries chargeable. The AMG Option is ideal for a maximisation of performance and service life of most Start-Stop Batteries. The installed temperature compensation does guarantee an ideal charging performance even under extreme conditions. The patented float/pulse receiving charging is ideal for the long-term storage.

The MXS 5.0 is a fully automatic 12 V charging device according to the principle of „connect and forget“ featuring 8 charging levels; it offers selectable SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programmes. The optionen RECOND and AGM work independently to each other or together in both, SMALL BATTERY and NORMAL BATTERY programmes, providing a high flexibility to the user. A wide charging range for all lead-acid battery types of 1,2 Ah to 110 Ah with additional preservation charging capacity of up to 160 Ah. Protected against splash water and dust (IP65). The operation of the MXS 5.0 is safe and simple, spark free, funkenfrei, is reverse polarity protected and short circuit proof and protects the electronic system of the vehicle.
