Up for bid is a small Indian bronze devotional statue of a Garuda. The figure stands 4 1/2 inches tall and is 2 3/4 inches wide. It is cast bronze, with a hollow base covered with green felt.  The figure has a rack in the back as shown.  The back appears to have been painted gold.  There are no marks. 

Condition on the figure is fairly good.  There is normal wear from use.  As noted, the back has been painted with gold paint.  Regardless, a fine example of an Indian bronze!
