For sale is a RARE and Unique Antique 18th C 1700s Wasbrough Bell Metal Apothecary Cast Posnet with three legs.  This cast bell metal skillet is in excellent condition with no cracks.  This Posnet shows a clear circular gate mark on the bottom, giving clues to its age in the manufacture process. 


Wasbrough is said to be a bell founder in Hatherleigh, Devon England from 1756- 1847.    Bell metal is a bronze alloy of Copper and Tin where the percentage of tin is much higher than in other bronzes.

It measures approximately 5.5 tall and 16" long. There are No visible repairs and it is in original antique condition.  It Shows natural aging and there is some green color from verdigris, it is not paint. Great patina. Please study the pictures carefully for detailed condition.
