OEM Nissan Rogue Altima Remote Smart Keys KR5TXN3

This keys are used to lock and unlock the doors of the vehicle, as well as to start the engine without having to insert a physical key.

The KR5TXN1 is a 4-button smart key that was used on the Nissan Rogue from 2019 to 2021 and on the Nissan Altima from 2019 to 2020.

There are two ways to program Nissan Smart Keys KR5TXN3

1. Using the manual programming procedure:

Close all doors and windows.

Sit in the driver's seat and insert the key into the ignition.

Turn the key to the ACC position and back to the OFF position six times within 10 seconds. The hazard lights will flash twice if the procedure is done correctly.

Press and hold the LOCK button on the new smart key.

Within 5 seconds, press and release the UNLOCK button on the new smart key three times.

Release the LOCK button.

The hazard lights will flash twice to indicate that the new smart key has been programmed.

2. Using a Nissan Consult scanner:

This is the preferred method for programming Nissan Smart Keys, as it is the most accurate and reliable.

Connect the Nissan Consult scanner to the OBD-II port of the vehicle.

Turn on the ignition.

Select the "Programming" option on the scanner.

Select the "Smart Key" option.

Follow the on-screen instructions to program the new smart key.
