GV2

Gravitas Ventures 13 sealed feature films and Documentary films all are blue-Ray and most are not available to screen. You get all 13 for a ridiculously low price
The cases without film would likely cost more! I am making up boxes so please view photos as this is lot #GV2

Ok I am only going to do this once so it is a long read which you can skip over or if you are a cinephile like me, you might want to read on.

I reviewed and distributed Gravitas Ventures titles under “the watching project” and these are some of the very best of Gravitas ventures Documentary and feature films. From just prior to the Covid era. I at one point had maybe 70 titles and sold them after reviewing them as part of my plans on helping distribute under the radar films.
I had a limited quantity of each from a few to as many as 100. I tried to establish a market and in some cases great films found cinephiles like myself.  I sent the films I felt were just not at the upper end of film making to auction after having them sit through Covid and there just wasn’t a large audience. So about 4000 blu-rays went off to auction. I held on to a handful of titles that were either just amazing films or under the radar documentaries. I  just didn’t have the heart to let them go especially after watching and reviewing each film and knowing how good they were.

My wife said you just aren’t going to be able to convince anyone that films are great without help. We gave away hundreds to friends who would pass them on to others and even then films like “Letter from Masanjia” one of very best award winning documentaries by Leon Lee from 2018 or the Australian drama “The Butterfly Tree” made in 2017 which offers Mellissa George in possibly her very best role. So as time went on a few boxfuls of these wonderful Blue-Ray films just sat around waiting to find a fan base. We decided Let’s just call it “film school”.and see if anyone has interest.

So here we are getting ready for a move and just feeling like very generous  It takes more time to list photograph and pack these and one ends up with less than minimum wage and zero profit.

I won’t beg, those that get it “get it” and those that don’t will go about their days. Never knowing that great film often flies under the radar.

I will be pricing Gravitas Ventures titles in groups by the box and selling at ridiculous low prices.
Including USPS lowest rates for 3lbs is between $5-6
I have to buy boxes and packing material, tape,  paper and print out labels. So in reality I get (after eBay snags well over 15% of what you pay) somewhere around 75 cents a film.
They are NEW Factory sealed and you won’t find hardly any of these on any streaming services.
That is less than the cost of an empty blu-ray case!

When these groups are gone they are gone
Please examine photos as what you see is what you get
I have tried making diversified groups some groups have some of the same films as others.

I think maybe 25 boxes of these are left (13) films per box I will list until sold out I don’t think you will regret buying these and they surely will move you into “film school” status

I have officially retired so I won’t be around here forever I have sold here 23 years more as a service to the film and music community than a business as I have had a real job. I have other plans I am downsizing for a move and my film collection is also being broken up So I will be selling off a World class digital film collection Starting at the bottom in groups and moving through Rare and scholarly films which having grown up in the film business film is in my blood
My grandfather made silent films and became one of the early film distribution houses and my uncle wrote and produced for 75 years and has his handprint and footprints in Grauman’s Theatre Hollywood Walk of Fame.
