You are purchasing a NEW reproduction of Lionel's 191-300 14 Volt rated light bulb that fits your 1862, 1872, 1882 General Locomotive, MPC era General Locomotive #8701 & fits many of Lionel HO items.
The photo shows a nickel base but brass bases maybe shipped based on available stock.
