Beer Keg Wrightson's Patent James Stiff Stoneware Pottery For J.T. Milne & Son.

A treasure! Made by noted English Potter James Stiff & Son in Lambeth England from 1860's to 1880's. Wrightson's patented the design, J.T Milne & Son were ale and stout bottlers for the beer. Unfortunately, like any old item with small parts, the flat screw lid closure is missing.

It has been kept in near perfect condition with no chips or cracks, and the lettering is still a strong black color. The dispenser button pushes in without any stick and springs back out as if it's had little use. Well made for being over 100 years old!
