Auction: Currently up for auction is an original Vintage 1960s Colorforms Alien - Outer Space Men Astronautilus. Comes with awesome reproduction card and weapon. The weapon and card are professionally produced... virtually identical to the original items.
Condition: The figure is in excellent condition with no broken wires, and the set is safely stored in a smoke free home inside a plastic tote. It's amazing how this figure as come 50+ years into the future and still looks great. Please review pictures of the item and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

History: The Outer Space Men (OSM), also known as the Colorform Aliens, is a group of seven "bendy" action figures (similar to Mattel's Major Matt Mason) produced by the Colorforms Company in 1968 to capitalize on the very popular Mattel's Major Matt Mason craze and created by Birnkrant (original OSM inventor).
These Outer Space Men featured the same bendable style body as the Major Matt Mason line, which were a rubber-like material molded over a wire armature. Unfortunately the wire frame often suffers from metal fatigue, breaking at the shoulder, elbow, knee, and hip joints, giving these toys a limited life span. This item has no broken wires, which make it even rarer.
