This is a 'Buy it Now' for a Second Anglo-Boer War Queen's South Africa Medal with five clasps, awarded to the 2nd Battalion, Lincolnshire Regiment.

QSA (3rd type Reverse) with Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal and South Africa 1901 & 1902 clasps.

Medal with officially impressed naming in small capitals to: 5508 PTE. A. RODGERS, 2nd LINCOLN REGT.

QSA and clasps confirmed on two medal rolls for the 2nd Lincolns.

The second QSA Roll dated 25 April 1903, states that he was sent to serve with the 1st Battalion of the Lincolns in India.

We noted on the roll there are four gentlemen named Rodgers serving with the 2nd Lincolns - brothers perhaps or related ?

Otherwise Mr Rodgers is completely un-researched, so a nice little project for the regimental collector.

The medal is in good VF condition with a couple of small edge bruises and an attractive toning, with an old piece of ribbon attached.

We will send the two copies of the medal roll to the buyer via an eBay message or email.

Any questions please by all means send us an email, which can be found below in the Business Seller Information details.

POSTAGE - Special or International Signed-For Delivery, which fully insures the medal with next day delivery in the UK.

We do accept PayPal, but would much rather have a personal cheque or bank transfer if at all possible please - Thank you.
