On offer, we have "Cats" by Dutch artist Karel Appel (1921-2006). This poster was part of his cat series, perhaps the best. As founder of the Avant-garde movement it is also an excellent example of his work. On very thick paper, this measures 25" X 32". This is an original poster, not a re-print.
This is in excellent condition. The poster is clean, bright, bold and clear. It has been handled and has some wrinkles, especially on the top right. As I am not an expert on art, please view my photographs for more description.
This belongs to my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with many of her treasures.
