What I have here is my old best friend's GT 1 in quill stem, with a Non-Potts mod bolt and Tear Drop Original. His initials are scribed by my father, who was a millwright. So the initials are legit to the stem. My friend was not into freestyling, so he bought the GT stamp on the sides of the neck, with the non-pots mod bolt. Had a hard time finding these online for information, I guess they hold their value so this one is pretty much been sitting in one of my boxes for the last 20 years, and letting it go as I went with a Profile Racing 1 in quail stem. As you can see there's something on the shaft tucked up against the bottom of the neck, I think that's a dust cover for the headset? Well it's going with the stem so whoever buys it, I guess you'll get a little extra bonus with it, if it will work for you? All threads are good, teardrop Is good, and no cross threads or stripped threads. Will clamp any handlebar. No bend in the hollow quill part of the stem or whatever I'm trying to say, there's nothing bent. Signs of stem show wear,as this isn't a show queen neck. Minimal, nicks, scratches and no Hammer marks, what you see in the pictures, is what you'll get.Thank you for looking, and let's get this to a good home.
