Various ‎– Stereo Sound Effects No. 3 (BBC Fielding Recording LP) (1970)

Decent British 1st release.

Featuring a host of original recordings covering the African continent and sea transport.

The first six L.P.s in the BBC Records "Sound Effects" series are in mono only.

Condition
  • VINYL: VG. Very clean on visual inspection. A few faint scuffs and marks on side 2. Side 1 has two areas of marks, one near centre. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is decent throughout. Run-ins have some mild static and only mild static between some cues and during some quieter sections but effects sound great. A few clicks in places but plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen.
  • OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: VG. Colours are unfaded on superb laminated front sleeve with paper back. Spine and edges in great shape with no defects. Creases in from spine and some sides. Spine corners scuffed/dark. Dark band along mildly worn aperture on front. Lots of faint stains and marks on back and light damage to top centre. Flipbacks present and attached but top edge partly detached from front.
  • INNER SLEEVE: G+. Original off-white sleeve with rounded corners. Some creases, crinkling and corner folds and some marks one side but otherwise clean and intact.
