Glenn Miller And His Orchestra - Sun Valley Serenade (Jazz Film Soundtrack LP) (1954)

Good British 10-inch 1st issue.

This motion picture (1941, dir. H. Bruce Humberstone) starred Sonja Henie, John Payne, Glenn Miller, Milton Berle, and Lynn Bari. It features the Glenn Miller Orchestra as well as dancing by the Nicholas Brothers. It also features Dorothy Dandridge, performing "Chattanooga Choo Choo".

Condition
  • VINYL: VG. Superbly clean on visual inspection. No obvious marks, scuffs or hairlines. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is very good throughout. Run-ins have some very mild static and surface noise, but all cues sound great. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. An enjoyable listen.
  • OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: G. Colours are clear and unfaded on superb laminated sleeve. A few creases in from sides. Spine edge has some splits and small rips. Aperture dogeared and bowed. Corners worn but edges in great shape. Flipbacks present and attached on back but aperture damaged from reverse side and some laminate here is brittle and torn/missing. Back has faint disc ring. Sleeve is intact and is overall a good example.
  • INNER SLEEVE: VG+. Original poly-lined white paper with centre hole. Some light crinkling and creases but no rips or stains. Intact.
