Bernard Broere • Sylvia Moore ‎– Music And Effects For Home Movies LP Vinyl Record (1971)

Hard-to-find British 1st release.

This LP features specially composed orchestral library music and sound effects for the then-growing home-movie market (cine films – Super8 silent, Super8 Sound, Standard8, etc.).

Part of the BBC's Sound Effects series, this album has never had a release on CD.

Condition

Vinyl: VG-EX. Looks very clean on visual inspection. No marks, scuffs or hairlines on either side. Just some dust residue on outer ring. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is great throughout. Some light static mainly at start of each side and through first tracks – but nothing major. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. A decent listening experience.

Outer Sleeve (Cover): EX. Colours are clear and unfaded. Wonderful laminated front cover with just a few curved creases and tiny dents across surface. Corners, edges, spine and aperture are in fantastic condition. Only tiny bubbles of delamination in all four corners and one or two creases in from spine. Reverse side shows only a few marks in top left and on right side. Otherwise decent and clean. Could be hard to find a better example.

Inner Sleeve: EX. Original. White paper with curved/angled corners. Superb. Intact.
