This is an elegant 40s white satin brocade evening gown. It has a halter neckline and band trim in a forest green cotton velvet and a large bow at the bust. The bodice is fitted and has a basque waist line with pleated side panels. The skirt is lightly gathered at the waist line and falls in a wide sweeping A-line. The hem hangs in a slight point and could be worn with or without a petticoat. The dress zips up the back with a fabric covered metal zip. The bodice is lined in a white rayon acetate and the skirt has hem tape of linen that gives a bit of body to the skirt.

Condition:
The dress is in great condition overall with a few small things to note. There is the faintest tinge of green color bleed from the bow. It's on the center and front but is hard to see with how faint it is and does not take away from how lovely this dress is. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.

Also if you happen to want more photos of anything please feel free to ask I am happy to provide them.
