Blade is 5-1/2" - Marked Simmons (Hardware)-Royal.  Overall 9-9/16 Inches.  Ebony wood handle with pewter inlays of star & acorn.  Blade has been sharpened.  Under magnification you can read Simmons and part of the word Hardware.  Simmons Hardware was founded in St. Louis in 1868.
