For sale is a VERY RARE antique 18th century to early 19th century hand carved folk art wood chocolate STAMP or butter MOLD with rarely seen motif of deer, bird, flower, and cross. It is getting increasingly harder to find one of these earlier stamps with highLu refined and deep carving. The patina of the wood is rich and smooth! Very primitive and aged look. The press measures 4.5” by 3.5”. It is in nice antique condition. No cracks or chips. Age appropriate wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please see all photos for detailed condition.
