Amazing Spider-Man #5 FN+ 6.5, Oct 1963
An original owner comic new to market for the 1st time in nearly 60 years! Very bright cover colours and and nicely square cut so you see all of the word Marvel top left – no back cover wraparound problems. The Spider-Man head and shoulders have a light neat tracing around the figure. I would advise clean and press this book. Should turn out spectacularly! A great investment piece. Best of all is the page/interior quality: the inside covers are a glossy Off White/White and the pages are uniformly white throughout, no browning edges or brown inside covers that you usually get. Remember that UK Variants are MUCH RARER than cents copies. Only 16 copies in this grade or better have ever been recorded in 23 years!
This is the 1st appearance of Doctor Doom in this title. It is his 6th ever appearance in the Marvel Universe. Stan Lee script and Steve Ditko art.
