GPOE-8A Power over Ethernet injector compliant with IEEE 802.3af standard and use for 802.3af passive devices or 12 volts PoE device & requires work with 48 volts power supply in this situation. When used for 802.3at passive devices, it requires 56 volts power supply combo - refer to AT-8 series.

The GPOE-8A PoE injector is no power supply included and if you are looking for a power supply combo, 802.3af passive devices or 12 volts PoE please see GPOE-8A-48V60W or GPOE-8A-48V120W; For 24 volts passive devices please see GPOE-8B-24V60W or GPOE-8B-24V120W (Mode A - Pin 1/2 (-), 3/6 (+); Mode B - 4/5 (+), 7/8 (-)).

GPOE-8A midspan injector operates in Mode A - Pins 1/2 (-), 3/6 (+) and the power is “always on”; This power injector allows 10/100/1000 Mbit/s data rate and the same voltage to all ports and the power is shared as needed by devices; 650 mA automatic reset-able fuse on each port.

By reducing the need for multiple power sources, a PoE power injector can reduce clutter and improve network performance. This is especially important for devices that require a high-speed connection, such as IP cameras or wireless access points.

The installation of a multi-PoE injector is straightforward and does not require any additional configuration. You only need to connect the injector to a power source and then connect the PoE-enabled devices to the injector.
