Carte de visite of a young girl with her brother with a bright green revenue stamp on the verso. The girl’s dress is tinted or stenciled to resemble a Native American’s garb. Who knows why? But it is a fine photo that is over 155 years old. I wonder if either of these children lived into the 20th century.
