Up for bid is a pair of French-style antique brass candlesticks with boy figural stems. The sticks are 6 ¾ to 6 7/8 inches tall and the bases are 3 1/8 inches in diameter.  The sockets accommodate 3/4 inch diameter candles.  They have hollow domed bases with central nuts.  The stems are figures of boys in 18^th C French dress with daggers, holding aloft the balusters for the sockets.  The sockets do unscrew as shown.  There are no marks.

Condition on the sticks is fairly good.  There are some minor bends so they do not stand exactly straight, some wax deposits, and normal wear of use.  A fun old pair of candlesticks.
