The gauge is an instrument for measuring the thickness of clearcoat coatings to an accuracy of 20 microns. It is used to quickly and accurately check whether a vehicle has been painted in the past. The tester does not require battery power, is calibrated and can be used for many years.
Features:
- The gauge can measure the thickness of varnish and detect the thickness of paint coatings invisible to the naked eye on vehicles made of sheet steel and galvanized steel.
- It has a color scale in µm for easy reading of the thickness of varnish or putty.
- The tester is made of aluminium, plastic, and magnet.
- The absorbing magnet and magnetic tip allow it to stick to any curved surface or hard to reach areas.
- The gauge has a size of 10.5*1cm.
Usage:
1. Wipe the area with water on a damp paper towel before use, then dry with a dry paper towel.
2. After cleaning, open the tester cap and adsorb onto the car paint (note: pull not too fast, pull gently).
