Description
This is an original linen children's book titled "Jack and The Bean Stalk". Published by M.A. Donohue & Co. Chicago and New York.
It is in fair used and well loved condition with some moisture staining mostly in the border area. A couple of minor tears on the cover. Someone has placed a cloth archival tape on the binding as shown. There are both bright color and B&W illustrations.
Storyline: Jack takes the cow into town and is offered magic beans in exchange for it. When his mother sees he's brought home beans instead of money, she throws the beans out the window and a great beanstalk grows into the clouds. Jack climbs the stalk in hopes of finding food.
Size is about 7-3/4" x 9-1/2" x 1/16" and has 10 pages.
