BEADED CREAM SATIN Vintage 1950s FORMAL EVENINGWEAR PARTY DRESS GOWN - S / XS

Old Hollywood Glamour!  Elegant vintage 1950s ballgown (and stunning as a wedding dress)  made of a  cream coloured satin embellished with silver & crystal beading.  The sleeveless dress has double spaghetti straps, a fitted bodice with a straight bustline, beaded bust (the dangling crystal beads are stunning - especially when you move), a nipped waist with ruching detail and a slim A-line cut skirt with wide pleat detail & a floorlength hem.  The skirt maintains its shape with an interior stiff lining as well as an interior crinoline.  The dress is fully lined and closes at the back with a hidden metal zipper.  

MEASUREMENTS:  No labels   ... Bust measures 35 inches (and therefore fits a size 32  or smaller size 34  bust), the  waist measures 25 inches and the hips are free.  There is no stretch to the fabric.  As always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress - measured from the underarm to the hem -  is 52 inches long.

CONDITION:  Very slight wear ...  the dress has been in storage for decades and has very slight surface dirt  .. it would benefit from drycleaning but is completely wearable as is.  Overall,  very good to excellent condition.
